This DIY moisturizing honey face mask is simple to make and leaves skin feeling soft, hydrated, and more radiant. Made from natural pantry ingredients, it’s an easy, gentle way to pamper your skin.

After the cold months, my skin always needs extra care. Dry air, stress, and lack of sleep left my skin looking dull and dehydrated. I love creating homemade skincare in the kitchen to help boost hydration and glow.

DIY Honey Face Mask for Hydrated, Radiant Skin

For more tips on glowing skin, check out my post “How To Get Glowing Skin” on The Find by Zulily.

I try to keep my beauty routine natural. Many store-bought masks can be pricey and full of questionable ingredients. This DIY hydrating mask uses just a few natural items and delivers great results. Manuka honey, in particular, is praised for its health benefits and is fantastic in skincare as well as in the kitchen.

What is Manuka honey?
Manuka honey comes from bees that collect nectar from the Manuka plant (Leptospermum scoparium) native to New Zealand. It contains a compound called methylglyoxal (MGO), which gives it strong antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. These benefits make manuka honey especially useful for soothing and caring for dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin.

Why use Manuka honey for skin?
– Reduces breakouts: Its antibacterial properties help reduce the bacteria that cause acne.
– Calms redness: Anti-inflammatory and healing effects can soothe irritated or sensitive skin and support healthier cell turnover.
– Hydrates: Honey attracts and retains moisture, helping skin feel softer.
– Brightens: Natural enzymes provide gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal brighter skin.

DIY Moisturizing Honey Face Mask
This hydrating mask is great for dry, acne-prone, or aging skin. Manuka honey soothes and hydrates, while oat flour gently exfoliates away dry, dull skin. If you have vitamin C powder, it’s a nice boost for brightening. Lavender adds a light scent and anti-inflammatory benefits, and rosehip seed oil supports skin renewal and antioxidant protection.

Use once or twice a week for a little extra skincare TLC.

Ingredients:
– 1 Tbsp oat flour (or grind oats in a blender)
– 1 Tbsp manuka honey
– 1/2 tsp vitamin C crystals (optional)
– 2 drops lavender essential oil (optional)
– 1 drop rosehip seed oil (optional)

Mix all ingredients until well combined.

To use:
– Clean your face before applying.
– Massage onto damp skin in gentle, circular motions, avoiding the eye area.
– Leave on for 5–10 minutes.
– Rinse with warm water and a clean washcloth.
– Follow with your favorite toner and moisturizer.

Note: Vitamin C can increase sun sensitivity, so be sure to use sunscreen.

Using wallpaper is a great way to add personality and visual interest to a room. When it was time to decorate our oldest’s bedroom, I wanted a bold, fun forest mural. We’d used Photowall murals in our living room before and loved the quality and results, so I chose them again. Photowall makes installation simple with clear instructions, and you can customize the mural size and orientation to fit your room. They offer many designs, and you can even order sample pieces to try before you commit.

For our son’s room we picked Foggy Forest (available in several colorways). It’s a moody, dense forest image that creates a calm feel and will grow with him—he’s nine now and we wanted something that would still work as he moves into his pre-teen years. It’s atmospheric without being too dark and perfect for a nature-loving kid.

Transform a Room with Wallpaper

If you’re thinking of using wallpaper, here are steps to guide you through the process:

How to use wallpaper to transform a room:
1. Plan and visualize
Decide the overall look and mood you want. Browse designs, patterns, and colors for inspiration. Collect samples or make a mood board to see how the wallpaper will work with your furniture and colors.

2. Measure the walls
Measure the walls accurately to know how much wallpaper you’ll need. Include doors, windows, and any architectural features in your calculations.

3. Prepare the room
Remove old wallpaper, clean the walls, and repair any cracks or holes. Sand rough spots so the surface is smooth and dry before you start.

4. Gather supplies
Get the wallpaper, adhesive or paste (unless pre-pasted), a smoothing brush or squeegee, a sharp knife or scissors, a tape measure, and a plumb line or level. Use the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer. If you order from Photowall, they provide the needed supplies and adhesive.

5. Start from the left
Begin on the left side of the room. Use a plumb line or level to make sure the first strip is perfectly straight.

6. Hang the wallpaper
Align the first strip with the plumb line and smooth it from top to bottom, removing air bubbles with a brush or squeegee. Trim excess at the ceiling, baseboards, and corners.

7. Continue with the remaining strips
Match patterns and edges as you go. Apply adhesive as needed and smooth each strip carefully for a seamless finish.

8. Finishing touches
Check for bubbles or small flaws and smooth them out with a brush or a needle. Wipe away any extra adhesive with a damp sponge.

Let the wallpaper dry completely before moving furniture back or adding decor. We still have a few updates to finish in his room, but the mural already makes a big impact. It was easy to install and gave the room a real “wow” factor. Once we add new bedding, lights, and decor, it will feel complete.

Patience, attention to detail, and careful work will give you a beautiful result. Wallpaper can feel intimidating, but it’s a very doable DIY. I highly recommend Photowall—their selection is huge, the quality is excellent, and they make the process straightforward.

Hiking with kids can feel challenging—both physically and mentally—but it’s also one of the best ways to make lasting family memories. Some of our favorite moments come from exploring national parks and local trails. Fresh air, freedom to roam, and the chance to burn off energy make it worth the effort. That said, without a little planning, a fun outing can quickly become a meltdown—for kids and parents alike.

After lots of trails, snack breaks, and a few detours, I’ve picked up some simple tips that turn hiking with kids from stressful to enjoyable.

Hiking with Children: How to Keep the Adventure Fun and Stress-Free

Start small and set realistic expectations
If your child’s idea of a hike has been walking from the couch to the fridge, don’t jump into a 10-mile trek. Choose short, scenic routes with interesting stops—waterfalls, bridges, or big rocks to climb. A 1–2 mile loop is usually perfect for little legs. Aim for flatter trails at first, then slowly try more elevation as you all build stamina.

Pro tip: Forget racing to the finish. Kids love to explore, so pauses to look at bugs, leaves, or sticks are part of the fun.

Gear up: shoes and backpacks matter
The right gear can make the difference between a great hike and a lot of complaints.

Shoes—no flip-flops!
Make sure everyone wears sturdy, comfortable shoes with good grip. Hiking boots, well-fitted sneakers, or trail running shoes are best for easy trails. Wet or rocky paths get slippery, and proper shoes help avoid falls and sore feet.

Backpacks
Give kids a small, lightweight backpack with their own water bottle, a snack, and a little pocket for treasures they find. It gives them independence and keeps them busy. It’s much easier when everyone carries their own small bag—those rocks get heavy fast.

Pack smart (but don’t overdo it)
There’s a balance between being prepared and hauling everything. Bring essentials like:
– Plenty of water
– Kid-friendly snacks (more than you think you’ll need)
– Sunscreen and bug spray
– A small first-aid kit
– Extra layers for changing weather

Bonus: If your child is old enough, let them help pack their bag—they’ll love having a say.

Turn the hike into a game
Make the walk interactive to keep kids engaged:
– Play “I Spy” with nature
– Create a mini scavenger hunt (find a bird, a cool insect, or animal tracks)
– Set small goals (reach that big tree or the next bend)

Games keep them moving and cut down on “Are we there yet?”

Let them lead
Want to keep motivation high? Let kids take charge. Let them pick the trail, hold the map, or decide when to stop. Giving them ownership makes it their adventure.

Embrace the mess and mishaps
Kids will get dirty. They’ll find the deepest mud puddle and probably complain at times. That’s part of it. Pack an extra outfit for the ride home and remember these are the moments you’ll laugh about later.

Celebrate the small wins
Half a mile without complaints? High five. Reached the summit? Time for a special treat. Even if you don’t finish the whole route, getting outside together is a win.

Finish with a fun tradition
Create a post-hike ritual everyone looks forward to—ice cream, a silly victory dance at the car, or letting kids draw or journal about the trip. Little traditions turn hikes into memorable family experiences.

Hiking with kids isn’t about conquering mountains—it’s about making the outdoors fun and accessible. With some preparation, patience, and the right attitude, family hikes can become adventures everyone looks forward to.

So pack the snacks, lace up your shoes, and hit the trail—you’ve got memories to make! Share the love

This post is sponsored by Milan Laser Hair Removal. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I hate shaving. Like, I’ll choose pants over shorts just to skip the razor (sorry, not sorry!). Beyond the time it takes, my skin is super sensitive and shaving always leads to razor burn, ingrown hairs, and smoothness that only lasts a day or two before I’m stubbly again. It’s a huge hassle.

Your Complete Guide to Laser Hair Removal

When Milan Laser Hair Removal invited me to try their laser treatments, I was excited to learn more. Laser hair removal is their only service, and they offer an unlimited package for long-lasting results. With summer coming, I wanted to start right away so I could enjoy a no-shave, hair-free season. I booked a consultation and couldn’t wait to ditch worries about prickly legs or bikini-line irritation.

Below I’m sharing my experience and the key FAQs about Milan Laser’s laser hair removal.

How does laser hair removal work (and does it hurt)?
You begin with a free consultation. At mine, the Milan team walked me through how the treatment works, showed an informative video, and answered all my questions. They made me feel comfortable and addressed everything I was worried about—pain, prep, side effects, and downtime.

Milan’s treatments are safe and performed by trained medical staff. They use FDA-cleared lasers that are adjusted for different skin tones (including darker skin) and hair colors. The laser targets the hair follicle to prevent future growth. A pulse is delivered to the skin, damaging the hair root so it can’t grow back. Most people see smooth, stubble-free results after 7 to 10 treatments, usually spaced about five weeks apart.

For my first session I followed the provider’s advice: I shaved beforehand and avoided lotion in the treatment area. I slipped into a robe and put on protective glasses. I had my bikini area treated—shaving there always gave me the worst bumps and irritation. The laser pulses felt like a light snap from a rubber band, but the machine’s cooling spray made it much more comfortable. It was far less painful than waxing.

The whole treatment took about 10 minutes, and I walked out with just mild redness that faded within an hour—no downtime and no lasting pain. Within a week I started seeing hair fall out naturally (gentle exfoliation helped). After my first session, I noticed about 50% less regrowth.

Where can you have hair removed?
Laser hair removal can be used on many body areas, including:
– Legs
– Underarms
– Bikini or Brazilian
– Lip and chin
– Back and shoulders
– Abdomen
– Feet
– Neck
And more—set up a consult to talk about your specific areas.

How long does laser hair removal take?
Sessions can be as quick as 10 minutes depending on the area. Most patients see about 95% of unwanted hair gone after 7 to 10 treatments. I’ve had only two treatments and already feel like over half my unwanted hair is gone. It worked faster than I expected!

What really sold me on Milan is that their hair removal packages are unlimited. That means you can get as many treatments as needed to remove unwanted hair—for life. No extra fees for future touch-ups, even if things like hormonal changes cause new growth. Once you pay the initial cost, you’re covered for maintenance and touch-ups—no surprises.

How much does laser hair removal cost?
Price varies by treatment area. Milan’s prices are competitive and reasonable, and the lifetime guarantee makes it a great value. Their website has full pricing and process details to help you get started.

Why choose Milan Laser Hair Removal?
I chose Milan because they’re specialists—laser hair removal is all they do. They’ve honed the process for great results, a smooth experience, and lasting outcomes. I’m thrilled with my progress so far and look forward to even better results as I finish my treatments. Swimsuit season will be stress-free when it comes to prickly hair. I’ll share more updates as I go!

To learn more, schedule a consultation with Milan and use the map on their site to find one of their 70+ clinics near you.

Looking for a quick, protein-packed meal? This Spinach, Tomato, and Feta Frittata is a one-pan wonder that comes together fast and works for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.

This family-favorite frittata looks fancy but is surprisingly easy and so tasty. I love making frittatas because they’re a quick, filling option loaded with protein and veggies. They also reheat well and even taste great cold. If you don’t love the vegetables listed, swap them for your favorites.

Frittata with Spinach, Tomato and Feta

Why you’ll love it:
– Simple and fast: Minimal prep and cook time make it great for busy nights.
– High in protein: Eggs and feta help keep you full.
– Versatile: Mix in mushrooms, peppers, onions, or any veggies you like.
– Delicious: Spinach, tomatoes, and feta create a flavorful combo.
– Cast-iron cooked: Using a cast-iron skillet gives a lovely crust and a hint of iron flavor.

The secret that makes it extra good
Adding Greek yogurt gives the frittata a creamy, tender texture and keeps it from turning rubbery. It also adds extra protein.

Why use cast iron?
– Even heating: Cast iron cooks evenly, so the frittata sets nicely.
– Crispy crust: A hot skillet creates a golden, slightly crispy edge.
– Flavor boost: Cast iron adds a subtle depth of flavor.
– Long-lasting: With care, cast iron can last for years.
– Adds iron to food: Cooking in cast iron can increase the iron content of your meal.

Tips & variations:
– Add-ins: Try mushrooms, diced peppers, onions, or cooked ham or sausage.
– Spice it up: A pinch of red pepper flakes adds heat.
– Make ahead: Refrigerate after cooking and reheat gently in the skillet or oven.

As a mom, you often put yourself last. Between the kids, being a wife, and everything else, it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself. I wouldn’t have it any other way, but every now and then I love to slow down and treat myself to something just for me. That’s why I’m a fan of FabFitFun.

For $49.99 you get over $200 worth of full-size products. I can’t stand tiny sample sizes from stores—there’s rarely enough to really test something. Full-size items let you try a lot without paying full price.

My Summer 2019 box arrived on a long, rainy day and it made the day better. It was full of products I couldn’t wait to try. I’d been wanting a facial, so I was thrilled to find the Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Purple Clay Mask and the Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray. After I put the kids to bed, I gave myself a mini at-home facial. The clay mask gently exfoliated my skin and left it soft and refreshed, and the rose spray was the perfect follow-up. That spray smells amazing and does a little bit of everything—tones, primes, moisturizes, and hydrates. It even works as a makeup setting spray, which is perfect for hot summer days. A one-stop solution for summer skin!

Even though the box is for me, my kids loved playing with the Yay It’s Summer Letter Board—we keep it in the kitchen. I also adore the Vix Paula Hermany Lotus Towel; its shape is so cute and perfect for the beach.

When your child is sick it’s stressful enough. If they refuse medicine, it can feel really frustrating and discouraging. I remember when my youngest was a toddler with a bad ear infection and needed an antibiotic, but he refused to take it. I felt my frustration rising, but then I remembered tips I picked up working as a pharmacy technician—tricks pharmacists often share to help parents with stubborn kids.

8 Tips to Help Children Take Their Medicine

When a child won’t take liquid medicine, it can lead to tears, tantrums, and a longer illness. Whether it’s for a short sickness or a daily medicine, there are things you can try to make it easier for both of you. If you’re wondering “how do I get my child to take medicine?” these tips can help.

8 Ways to Help Your Child Take Medicine

Have a Positive Attitude
Kids take cues from your mood. Even if you’re frustrated, try to stay calm. The more upset you get, the more likely they are to fight it.

Improve the Flavor with FLAVORx
Some medicines really do taste awful, and that’s often why kids refuse them. FLAVORx offers a simple fix: at the pharmacy, kids can pick a flavor to mix into their medicine. When I worked in a pharmacy, we frequently recommended FLAVORx because it made medicine time much easier. I always ask for it when I pick up my kids’ prescriptions at CVS. It’s worth the extra step — they get to choose the flavor and it cuts down on battling.

Flavors are sugar-free, gluten-free, dye-free, and casein-free, with more than 16 options that can be used with hundreds of drugs. It’s a safe, easy way to make yucky medicine taste better and take away the stress of giving it.

Talk It Through
Ask your child what bothers them about taking the medicine and try to solve that specific issue. Explain why they need it and make it clear it’s not a punishment. Be calm, firm, and understanding. Work as a team to find a solution.

Give Them Choices
Let kids feel in control by offering small choices: which FLAVORx flavor, which tool to use (spoon, dosing cup, syringe), or where they want to take it (on your lap, in bed, on the couch). A bit of control can ease the fight.

Fool the Tongue
Try simple tricks to lessen the taste. Give a popsicle or let them suck on ice before medicine to slightly numb the tongue. After medicine, offer something sweet, like a spoonful of honey or chocolate syrup, to wash the taste away. Many taste buds sit at the back of the mouth, so using a syringe to squirt medicine into the side of the cheek can reduce how much they taste.

Role Play
For little ones, role play can help. Let them give “medicine” to dolls or stuffed animals to make the idea less scary and more fun.

Make It a Routine
For medicines taken over days or regularly, make taking it part of a routine and place it before something they love (playing outside, a favorite show, or screen time). That way they have something positive to look forward to.

Reward Them
Sometimes rewards work well. Use a star chart or promise a small toy if they take their medicine all week—tangible rewards can be powerful motivators.

This post was sponsored by Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal. All opinions are my own.

This sweet-and-spicy pineapple jalapeño margarita is absolutely delicious. Bright pineapple juice pairs with jalapeño-infused simple syrup and smooth 100% agave Lobos 1707 tequila for a cocktail that will likely become a favorite.

Pineapple Margarita with a Jalapeño Kick

I love a margarita on the rocks. In college I bartended at a Mexican restaurant and made all kinds of margaritas—on the rocks, frozen, and everything in between. That job was a crash course in the many flavors and subtleties of tequila. Not all tequilas are the same, and the secret to a truly great margarita is starting with good ingredients and a quality tequila.

I recently discovered Lobos 1707 Tequila at Meijer and really like the flavor. It’s smooth with a slightly sweet, mellow finish, great for sipping or mixing. Lobos 1707 is additive-free and made from 100% blue weber agave, which gives it that gentle sweetness. Their aged expressions use Pedro Ximenez barrels, and the line includes Joven, Reposado, Extra Añejo, and a Mezcal. For the price, it’s an excellent choice. To find it near you, use the store locator or buy online.

Today I’m sharing one of my all-time favorites: pineapple jalapeño margaritas on the rocks. We’ll be serving these for a spicy New Year’s Eve celebration at home and wanted something a bit special to ring in the new year. This recipe balances sweet, spicy, and salty—made with Lobos 1707 Joven Tequila, fresh pineapple and lime juice, jalapeño simple syrup, and colorful garnishes to impress your friends and family. Quick tip: when buying pineapple juice, choose 100% pineapple juice, not from concentrate.

One of the keys to this drink is the jalapeño simple syrup. You could skip it, but taking the extra 10 minutes to make the syrup adds real depth (it’s also great in lemonade and keeps well in the fridge). The syrup needs only water, sugar, and jalapeño slices. Simmer for about 10 minutes and cool before using. Depending on how spicy you like it, you can strain out the jalapeños or leave some in to keep infusing. I usually remove most slices but leave a few to keep developing the heat.

Tips:
– If you want to simplify, skip the syrup and add a few jalapeño slices to the shaker before mixing. The drink will be less sweet.
– Fresh juice offers the best flavor.
– Prefer a frozen margarita? Put all liquid ingredients in a blender with a handful of ice and blend.
– Tajín on the rim pairs beautifully with this drink; coarse salt works too.

Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita
This sweet-and-spicy pineapple jalapeño margarita is irresistible. Tart pineapple juice, jalapeño simple syrup, and smooth Lobos 1707 Joven tequila make a delicious combo—perfect on the rocks.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes
Makes: 2 drinks

Ingredients
Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita
– 6 ounces pineapple juice
– 4 ounces Lobos 1707 Joven Tequila
– 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (about 1/2 a lime)
– 1–2 tablespoons jalapeño simple syrup, to taste (recipe below)
– 1 cup ice
– Lime slices, fresh pineapple slices, jalapeño slices for garnish (optional)
– Tajín seasoning or coarse salt for the rim (optional)

Jalapeño Simple Syrup
– 3/4 cup water
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1–2 jalapeños, sliced

Instructions
Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita
1. If using Tajín or salt, pour it onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of your glass with a lime wedge and dip the rim into the Tajín to coat. Fill the glass with ice.
2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add pineapple juice, tequila, lime juice, and jalapeño simple syrup. Shake vigorously, then strain into the prepared glass.
3. Garnish with pineapple and jalapeño slices. Serve immediately.

Jalapeño Simple Syrup
1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce to a simmer, add sliced jalapeños, and simmer 10–15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain out the jalapeños if preferred. The longer the jalapeños stay in the syrup, the hotter it will get.

As always, drink responsibly!

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through January 2022! I love using the first month of the year to think about what matters, set goals, build better habits, and focus on my health. Since many of us are working on resolutions and intentions right now, I wanted to share a few products that might help you reach your full potential.

New Year, New Goals: Achieve Them with These Helpful Products

When you set new goals, it’s important to know your “why” and your “how.” Understanding why a goal matters to you can keep you motivated. Small changes add up, especially for your health and self-care. Making a clear, actionable plan is one of the most important steps to success. Like they say, “A goal without a plan is just a wish,” so take time to sit down, look inward, and map out steps to hit your milestones.

The right products can make staying on track much easier. Below are a few items that have helped me—and might help you—stick to your goals.

Focus on Nutrition
Many people use the new year to be more mindful about the foods and supplements they use. One of my big goals this year is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet. Shaklee, a leading natural nutrition company, has been helpful for me. I’ve been adding Shaklee Life Shake and Collagen-9 to my morning smoothies for a nutritional boost. Life Shake is super convenient and gives a complete meal with 20 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, and 24 essential vitamins and minerals*. It’s non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free. Most mornings I also add a scoop of Collagen-9, which supplies the nine essential amino acids the body needs for protein synthesis. Collagen is a great supplement to support healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints.

Journaling
Journaling has really grown in popularity. Whether you want to practice daily gratitude, track moods or workouts, or just get your thoughts on paper, journaling can reduce stress and boost mental well-being. Having nice pens and highlighters makes it more fun to stick with it. I love the Zebra Pen Journaling Set—it includes Sarasa Clip Gel pens and Mildliner Highlighters in matching colors. I use them for color-coding goals, writing daily lists, and filling in my mood and gratitude journal. The pens are smudge-free (nothing worse than smeared ink) and the colors don’t bleed. The set has everything you need to get creative and stay organized.

Eat More Veggies
A lot of us try to eat more fruits and vegetables, but not all produce is the same. Beets have become popular for good reason: they’re full of vitamins and minerals linked to lower blood pressure, reduced inflammation, better stamina, detox support, and immune boosting. If you want to try beets, Beetology makes it easy. They offer five flavors of 100% organic cold-pressed juice. At under 100 calories per bottle, these juices are an easy way to add wellness into your day. Made with all-natural ingredients and no preservatives, artificial colors, or flavors—just pour and enjoy. I especially like Beetology Beet and Veggie, a mild, slightly sweet blend of beets, green apples, carrot, kale, and celery.

Make Skin Care a Priority
I love skincare, but I’ll admit I often focus on my face and forget the rest of my body. This year I’m paying more attention to my arms and legs, which get dry. To make it more enjoyable, I added Tree Hut’s Vitamin C Whipped Body Butter to my after-shower routine. It leaves my skin smooth, hydrated, and glowing. It’s packed with vitamin C to brighten, AHA for fresher tone and texture, and natural shea butter to deeply nourish. It’s a simple self-care step that feels indulgent.

Dry January
January feels like a fresh start, and after the holiday indulgences, many people choose to pause drinking for the month. If you’re doing Dry January but still want a tasty drink, Monday Zero Alcohol Gin is a great alcohol-free option. It’s booze-free but full of flavor—juniper, botanicals, citrus, and spices—so it gives you that classic London Dry vibe without the alcohol. It has 0 calories, no carbs, and zero sugar, so you can enjoy a cocktail without feeling like you’re missing out. I love making mocktails in the evening with my husband and not worrying about feeling tired the next morning.

Use code: AMBER15 to save 15% off anything at drinkmonday.co (except subscriptions). Code expires January 31, 2022.

Baseball hats are a go-to accessory that add a sporty, casual touch to any outfit. Whether you’re heading to a game, running errands, or just want to level up your look, a baseball hat can be both practical and stylish. If you’re wondering which hairstyles work best with a hat, here are several easy, versatile options to help you create a cute, effortless look.

This post includes affiliate links.

6 Cute, Easy Hairstyles to Wear with Hats

Cute & Easy Hat Hairstyles:
1. Bubble Braids:
Skip a plain ponytail and try bubble braids for a cute, low-effort hat hairstyle. They keep hair off your face and neck—perfect for busy or hot days.
How to:
– Part your hair evenly from front to back.
– Make bubble braids on each side: take a top section, secure with an elastic, then take the next section below and tie it to the first. Continue down the length.
– Fluff each “bubble” for more volume.
– Put on your hat and pull a few loose strands at the front to soften the look.

2. Braid with a Hair-Scarf Scrunchie:
A hair-scarf scrunchie adds color and personality to a simple style. Use the scarf as a tie or weave it into a braid for extra flair.

3. Ponytail:
A classic, practical choice—great for hot or active days. Place your ponytail high, mid, or low depending on the hat and your preference. Works well with straight or wavy hair. For a neater finish, wrap a small section of hair around the base and secure with bobby pins.

4. Messy Bun:
For a relaxed, trendy vibe, go with a messy bun. It’s perfect with a baseball hat and works best on medium to long hair. Tuck or loosen it slightly to fit comfortably under the hat.

5. Claw Clip Bun:
Brush your hair back and, if your hat has an opening, pull a small section through so the clip has something to hold. Gather the rest into a ponytail, twist it upward, secure with a claw clip, and you’re done.

6. Side Braid:
Brush your hair to one side and braid loosely. Pull a few face-framing pieces loose to soften the look.

Tip: Adjust your hat to fit your chosen hairstyle—loosen the strap or wear it slightly back to make room and stay comfortable. The key is to try different styles and pick the one that fits your vibe and the hat.
